The Jackson County Board of Education will hold two special community meetings in the coming week to discuss with the public possible plans to create a 6th Grade school in the county. The BOE will hold its regular board meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Kings Bridge Middle School followed by the community meeting at 7 p.m. KBMS has been discussed as the possible site for a special 6th Grade school. The board will also hold its meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at East Jackson Comprehensive High School followed by another community meeting at 7 p.m. Both community meetings will begin with a presentation about the school issue followed by Q&A from the audience, said superintendent John Green.
