Katie Peek (2-17-13)

COMMERCE - Katie Ruth King Peek, 90, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Northridge Health and Rehab Center.

She was born in Americus, the daughter of the late James Howell and Katie Puckett King. She was a homemaker and was a member of Danielsville Evangelical Church. Mrs. Peek was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Peek.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Edward Turner Peek, Jr., Commerce; sons, Tyler Peek (Martha), Irvington, Ala., and Rev. Tim Peek (Cathy), Commerce; and a brother, Bob King, Shreveport, La.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, at 11 a.m. from Ila Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Peek officiating. Interment will be at Danielsville Evangelical Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, February 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
