Three local children lost their bicycles to thieves over the past week, according to reports from the Commerce Police Department.
A 31-year-old white female summoned police to her Washington Street residence where she reported that someone stole her 11-year-old daughter’s bicycle from under the carport.
The bike was described as being purple that faded to pink, then white, with white trail tires and pink rims and handlebars.
A 51-year-old white female who lives at Willoughby Homes off Waterworks Road reported to police that someone stole her son’s bicycle from the side of the apartment.
She described it as being blue with green handlebars.
The third bicycle theft was reported on Victoria Street, where a white male told police that his daughter’s bicycle was stolen, along with a trail camera that was nearby and a skateboard.
The bike was described as a purple girl’s bike with her name written on the handlebars. The bike was valued at $130, the trail camera at $125 and the skateboard at $5.
