Reports of fraud and scams are among the incidents reported to the Banks County Sheriff’s Office during the past week.

A man went to the sheriff’s office and reported that when he tried to file his taxes, he was informed that someone had already filed using his information.

In another report, a man said his computer was blocked and he was asked through an online message to pay $315 for a service plan that would fix the problem.
