TWO INJURED IN STORM

Two people were injured when a tree fell on a vehicle during a storm on June 27. Banks County Fire/EMS, along with Franklin County Fire/EMS, responded to 306 Prospect Road, Toccoa, on a reported vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment. Upon arrival, units found a single vehicle that a tree had fallen on during inclement weather and two people were trapped inside. Extrication was completed by Bold springs Fire Department and both patients were transported to Athens Piedmont Hospital by Franklin County and Banks County EMS. Both were listed as in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
