•Teen Thursdays: Game Night — 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.

•Lego Club — 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.

•Ready to Read Pre-K Story Time — 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.

•Knit & Crochet Club — 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.

•Paying for College — 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9. Experts from Wells Fargo will be on site to offer free advice on paying for college, from scholarships, to federal aid, to loans.

•Lapsit Story Time — 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Ages 2 and under.

•Teen Thursdays: Teen Advisory Board — 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.

•Crafternoon — noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. All supplies provided. Ages 3 and up with a caregiver.

STATHAM

The Statham Public Library has the following upcoming events:

•Lego Club — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.

•Ready to Read Pre-K Story Time — 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.

•Lapsit Story Time — 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Ages birth to 2 years old.

•Adult computer skills class — 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. Adults of all skill levels can come twice monthly and get help with any computer-related issue they need. That includes help with resumes, Word documents, email set-up, Facebook, table or phone set-up for eBook use, etc.

•Passport Information Day — 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. Forms will be on hand, and a passport agent will be in attendance to answer questions. 

The library is a passport acceptance facility, so if you need a passport, inquire, leaders state.

Ask about free tickets to the Atlanta Zoo, the Carlos Museum and the Go Fish Education Center.

The library is open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and closed on Sundays.
