Apalachee High School celebrated National FFA Week, Feb. 22-29. More than 700,000 members participate in National FFA Week activities at local, state and national levels, according to a news release. During the week, chapters conduct a variety of activities to help others in their school and community learn about FFA and agricultural education. AHS celebrated National FFA Week by participating in the following activities: Blue and Gold Tuesday as well as serving breakfast to all faculty and staff; College Spirit Day Wednesday with a college and degree workshop; Character Day Thursday and a knife safety workshop; and Chapter T-Shirts on Friday while joining all other chapters in a countywide bonfire. Members enjoyed fellowship and competed in a corn hole tournament. Throughout the week, the chapter highlighted past FFA members on its social media.
