‘Experience BCA’ curriculum night held

Bethlehem Christian Academy has put an interactive spin on the traditional “curriculum night.” Parents and students came together recently for the annual “Experience BCA,” a hands-on walk through the school day together. From participating in a chapel service, to walking through the day’s schedule in a lower elementary classroom, to moving from class to class with ringing bells in the upper academy, parents “get a true feel for what their children are participating in each day,” school leaders said. “Experience BCA gives parents a chance to see our classrooms, which are different from what most people expect,” academic dean Jenny Clifford said. “It gives them the opportunity to meet and really relate with their child’s teachers, to see and hear their hearts, and to establish a relationship that will hopefully carry them throughout the rest of the year. BCA does things uniquely; we especially want to make learning very engaging, and we want to give parents a chance to really see and experience that difference.”
