Apalachee faculty, staff take part in National Wear Red Day

The faculty and staff at Apalachee High School wore red on Feb. 5 to show their support of women's heart health for National Wear Red Day. According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (N.I.H.) in the U.S, Coronary Heart Disease is the “No. 1 killer of women in the United States." On the first Friday of every February, men and women are encouraged to wear red as a symbol of their support of women’s heart health.
