A Virginia man was killed in a recent wreck in the Braselton area.
Keith Sparks, 40, of Galax, Va., was killed in the June 26 wreck, which occurred on I-85 near mile marker 129.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Subaru Forester driven by Roman Zatuchny, 80, of Lawrenceville, improperly changed lanes.
Sparks' Ford Escape struck the vehicle on the side, which caused Zatuchny's vehicle to rotate and and travel onto the right shoulder of the road. It struck a guardrail, then rotated again, overturned and traveled up against a guard rail.
Sparks' vehicle overturned several times on its side, before coming to an uncontrolled rest on the top of the vehicle. Sparks was ejected from the vehicle and struck a cable barrier.
