Farm-to-School

ILeta Redmond, a representative from Jackson County Food Service, recently brought a Farm to School lesson to Gum Springs Elementary School. Students were given a lesson about the importance of incorporating a rainbow of fruits and veggies into their diet every day. Students also enjoyed a rainbow smoothie made from various fruits and vegetables. Pictured are: Sam Westbrooks, Sutton Bennett, Livi Landers and Francis Hall.
