Friday night singing to be held

Dugar Strickland will host the fourth Friday Night “pickin and grinning” Friday, Aug. 23, in the StonePath Church Fellowship Hall featuring “Crystal River,” “Rivers Edge” and The Shiloh Singers.

The meal will begin at 6 p.m. and the singing will begin at 7 p.m.

Men’s program set

at Bush River

Bush River Baptist Church men’s group will hold its “What’s on your mind” program from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 24.

All men, pastors and deacons are invited to attend. The program is for ages 13 and up.

The church will hold its 33rd choir anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25.

plans bingo

Hoschton United Methodist Church will host its Primetimers Bingo from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30. It is a covered dish luncheon.

The church plans homecoming Oct. 6. Retired minister, the Rev. David Bowen, will be the guest speaker. Lunch will follow the 11 a.m. service.

Northeast offers citizenship classes

Northeast Church will offer a free citizenship class beginning at 6;30 p.m. Sept. 18.

The class will help participants prepare for the citizenship interview and assist in preparation of the N400 packet.
