Family movie night held in Jefferson

Families spread out their blankets and set up their lawn chairs on the floor at the Jefferson Civic Center on Friday, July 31, to enjoy a movie night. Disney’s “Moana” was hosted by Main Street Jefferson. The “Movies by Moonlight” was moved to the civic center due to the chance of rain. The Snowie shaved ice truck was also available for visitors who wanted a sweet treat while enjoying the show. The last summer movie, Hook, will be held on Saturday, August 22, on the lawn behind the Regions Bank drive-thru in downtown Jefferson. The movie will start at approximately 8:45 p.m.
