First Baptist Church Jefferson Bags of Love

The Children’s Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson has been working on their Valentine’s Day mission, Bags of Love, to be shared with residents of Peace Place as well as the church’s shut-in members. Bags have been filled with some special treats donated by the church family, including Valentine candy, personal care items, devotionals, and hand-made cards from the Children. This mission emphasizes to the Children the importance of helping others in their Church and throughout the community and sharing the love of Christ with others, leaders state.
