Jefferson Academy students participate in World Vision Project

Following the Seven Mindsets, Amy Farmer’s third grade class learned how “We are all Connected,” by participating in the World Vision Project. The class raised $862 in donations for the World Vision’s gift catalog to help the lives of children and families struggling to survive by providing their basic needs. The donation allowed the class to purchase a dairy cow, a share in a deep well for clean water and food to help a refugee for a week. The students were able to see that although they will never meet the people they helped across the world, they are all connected and were able to help them with monetary donations. Shown here is Farmer’s third grade class who participated in the World Vision Project.
