JEFFERSON WRITING WINNERS

Students at Jefferson Academy recently had the opportunity to submit original pieces of writing for the Young Georgia Author Writing Competition. Shown are: (L-R) Ansleigh Rundell (3rd), Olivia Gabor (3rd), Sophia Camp (3rd), Madeline Mackendree (4th), Hilda Manglitz (4th), Brooke O’hara (4th), Maci Scearce (5th), McKinley Parham (5th), and Gavin Simmons (5th). After several rounds of judging, the students pictured were selected to represent their grade level as finalists. The three students who were named grade level winners, and whose writing will go on to the next round of the competition are: Olivia Gabor (3rd), Hilda Manglitz (4th) and McKinley Parham (5th).
