Bell named Cumberland homecoming queen

Falon Bell was recently named the homecoming queen at The University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

Falon Bell, a 2016 graduate of Jefferson High School, has been named the 2019 Homecoming Queen at The University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Bell is a senior working on a double major in Christian studies and exercise sports science as well as minors in both Spanish and youth and family ministry. She has made the Dean's List each semester since being enrolled at UC. Bell is a third year Campus Ambassador, having given almost two hundred student/parent tours of the university, has worked as a resident assistant since her sophomore year and is serving her fourth year in the Student Government Association. She has worked with Appalachian Ministries, an outreach organization sponsored by the University of the Cumberlands that puts on Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs for the children of Whitley County, Kentucky and surrounding areas.

She will graduate as a Hutton Scholar, an award given to students who have served 200 plus hours in the community.

She is the daughter of Mike and DeAnne Bell, Maysville.
