Julius Mack (center) recently celebrate 50 years of employment with Mainstreet Newspapers. Mack started  started in the newspaper's job printing shop, working his way up to pressman and now as shop foreman. Same employment for 50 years. Congratulations! This just does not happen anymore in this country. Mr. Waggoner in Colbert: 50 years as mayor and 50 years at the same job. It's just unheard of in today's world. These are some of the last of secure lives lived in this country. There's no financial security from here on out. The biggest loss is that of community what with families always having to move here, there and yonder just to have a job that pays a living wage. It's a whole different world now.
