Chamber certified

The Jackson County chamber was recognized as one of 10 chambers that were certified in 2019. Jackson County’s chamber board of directors set the goal of becoming state-certified at a retreat in the fall of 2018. The award was presented recently at a state chamber volunteer leader conference in LaGrange. The state has 58 chambers that have been certified in the past nine years. The 10 chambers that were recognized are: Brunswick-Golden Isles, Fannin County, Greater Macon, Jackson County, Liberty County, Milledgeville-Baldwin, Pelham, Randolph County, Sylvester-Worth County and Valdosta-Lowndes.
