The Georgia Department of Health is setting up a Covid vaccine center at the agricultural center in Jefferson.

The location will be open one day per week on Feb. 10, 17, 24 and March 3, 10, 17 for Jackson County citizens who qualify for the vaccine.

Currently, only those in category 1a qualify — that includes health care workers, first responders and those over age 65.
