Three juveniles were killed and four people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck near the Talmo city limits Saturday morning.

Five of the 7 people in the two cars were juveniles. Everyone involved in the accident was from Hall County or Jackson County.

The three fatalities were a 16-year-old male, nine-year-old female and four-year-old male. They were all passengers in a Ford Explorer involved in the wreck.

Obituaries were posted for Angel Jesus Huerta, 4; Denise Ramos, 9; and Luis Fernando Carmona-Zepeda, 16; on the Memorial Park Funeral Homes and Cemeteries website. All three were of Gainesville. All three passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center from injuries.

Combined funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, at 1 p.m., at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father Jaime Barona officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, from 1-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Huerta was born Dec. 25, 2011, in Hall County, to Selso Wences and Hipolita Huerta.

Ramos was born Aug. 8, 2006, in Hall County, to Alan Ramos and Hipolita Huerta.

Carmona-Zepeda was born May 9, 2000, in Hall County. He was the son of Gabrial Carmona and Yolanda Zepeda. He was a junior at Johnson High School where he played on the soccer team.

Three adults were also transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. A fourth child was air-lifted to Scottish Rite of Atlanta.

All four of those transported to NEGMC and Scottish Rite are now in stable condition. Two have reportedly been released from the hospital.

The wreck occurred near the intersection of SR 332 (Belmont Hwy.) and Talmo Road.

The Ford Explorer was traveling south on Talmo Road and attempted to turn left onto SR 332. A Ford F-250 pick-up truck was traveling west on SR 332 and struck the left side of the Ford Explorer.

The Ford Explorer overturned after the collision into an embankment.

The preliminary investigation of the crash is that the Ford Explorer failed to yield to the right-of-way of the Ford F-250 when attempting to enter the eastbound lane of SR 332.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident. No charges have been filed.
