Emerging leaders graduate

The ‘You Lead’ Emerging Leaders Program at the North Georgia Community Foundation recently graduated its first class.

The ‘You Lead’ Emerging Leaders Program at the North Georgia Community Foundation has graduated its first class with 15 non-profits leaders from across North Georgia. This leadership development program is just one of the many educational and leadership training opportunities provided as part of the Growing Roots of Wisdom (G.R.O.W.) program at NGCF.

Those who graduated include: Mark Akin, North Georgia Works; Brandy Anderson, Acceptance Recovery Center, Inc.; Cindy Bryant, Gateway Domestic Violence Center; Margaux Dolenc, North Georgia Community Foundation; Linda Foster, Jackson County Family Connection; Jillian Ingram, Acceptance Recovery Center, Inc.; Megan Martin, North Georgia Community Foundation; Dana Miller, Junior Achievement of Northeast Georgia; Wanda Newton, Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier; Paula Payne, Community Helping Place; Chanda Santana, DIVAS Who Win Freedom Center; Natalie Vinzant, Hall-Dawson CASA; Mandy Volpe, Interactive Neighborhood for Kids; Hannah Warner, Chattahoochee Riverkeepers and Lisa Warwick, North Georgia Community Foundation.

G.R.O.W. was established in 2018 with support from MBA students at the University of North Georgia Mike Cottrell College of Business. This class of ‘You Lead’ was led by Duane Hinshaw, Principal, Non-Profit Breakthrough Leadership.
