A handyman allegedly threatened to kill a client in Arcade recently over money owed for work, according to the client. The handyman denied those claims to Arcade police, which investigated the incident on May 29.

A Tuesday April 28, afternoon fire off of Hwy. 335 between Jefferson and Nicholson left a barn full of hay and equipment completely destroyed. A number of area fire departments responded to the blaze.
