The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Medical Service recently responded to a property on Blacks Creek Church Rd. where a four-wheeler accident injured three juveniles.

The mother of two of the three juveniles said they were riding a short distance from one residence to another on the property at a slow speed when a dog ran out in front of the vehicle. The driver slammed the brakes, causing the four-wheeler to flip over on top of them. Two of the juveniles were transported to Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, but the other was taken to a children’s hospital in Atlanta.
