The FFA Chapter at Jefferson High School recently held its local Tractor Driving Career Development Event. The contest involves a member maneuvering a tractor around various obstacles and proving their knowledge of Agricultural Mechanics. The chapter had three members that competed locally on September 12 in order to decide on Jefferson’s representative for the Contest at the Area II Tractor Driving competition. Tate Hill, Caleb Harness and Jacob Price all competed to be Jefferson’s delegate to the contest. Caleb Harness won the local contest and represented Jefferson at the Area II Contest on Tuesday, September 17 at the Thompson Mill Arboretum. Shown L-R are: Hill, Price and Harness.
