Local Chapter 1344 Woodmen Life members recently shopped for and purchased book bags that they presented to students at East Jackson Comprehensive High School, located on Hoods Mill Road, Commerce.

Officials at the high school accepting the presentation were: Principal Chanda Palmer, teacher Cindy Benton and student Rylee Sosebee.

Seventeen book bags were donated by Chapter 1344 Jefferson.

Woodmen Life members were represented by Buddy Hunt,

Dot Hunt, and Betty Thomas and youth member Rylee Sosebee.
