Mt. Hermon donates to Ila Elem.

Mount Hermon Presbyterian Church in Ila recently made a donation to Ila Elementary School’s media program. This church continues to be involved with the county school system and its literacy programs, such as enabling the media specialist to purchase books that the young readers want in their school library. The Mount Hermon members always want to encourage young students to read, church officials said. “We know the students will be able to go places in a book that some students could not go to, in the real world,” officials noted. “Mt. Hermon is so pleased to help the students at ILA Elementary School this year.” Pictured (L-R) are media specialist Heather Hanley, Mt. Hermon representative Edith Brown and Ila Principal Missy Andrews.
