Athens Montessori School donates to MOAS

The Athens Montessori School donated a number of items from the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter’s wish list as a way to celebrate their 100th day of school. Some of the items brought were bleach, hand sanitizer, towels, sponges, dog and cat food, dog and cat toys, as well as dog and cat treats. “It started out as collecting 100 things and then escalated from there,” shelter officials said. “It was amazing to receive so many things we are always in need of.” A representative from the Montessori School is pictured with shelter staff members Misti Morrison, April Pate, Lynne Parker, Ron Brinks, Amanda Crowe, Jessie Lindsey and Elizabeth Hamby.
