MOAS 'Pets of the Week'

The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter’s Dog of the Week is “Kain,” a 2-year old neutered male hound mix who has been at MOAS for six weeks. He has all of his vaccines and his neuter so he can go home the day of his adoption. “Kain came to us because he was caught in the middle of human relationships,” shelter officials said. “Kain is a high energy and highly intelligent dog. He knows sit and stay and loves to chase a frisbee. He would love a home where he can get all this energy out and his new family will continue to challenge him mentally. If you have an active lifestyle, Kain is the pup for you." Call the shelter at 706-795-2868 for a meet and greet with Kain.

These 23-week old sibling females are spayed and ready to go home today from their Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter foster home. Mighty Mouse is an orange tabby and Miss Priss is a the black and white. “Mighty Mouse and Miss Priss are a sweet, playful, and loving sister duo who have bonded strongly in their foster home,” shelter officials said. “They have been in foster since they arrive 16 weeks ago in June. Miss Priss is happy to lay on your lap and sleep the day away. They will follow you around the house, keeping an eye on you and wanting your love and attention. Their foster mom says she feels like she is always being watched. If you are a looking to never be lonely and want two new shadows, Miss Priss and Mighty Mouse are the kittens for you. Because they are so well bonded, their adoption fees will be sponsored (free) only if they are adopted together.” Fill out an adoption application online at www.moaspets.com/adoptionapp to set up a meet and greet with Miss Priss and Mighty Mouse's foster family.
