Ribbon cutting held for the PIG; restaurant named 'Business of the Month'

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday morning to celebrate the expansion of Pig Skins BBQ to The PIG (pigskinsbbq.com; 706- 420-0009). Located at 715 Hwy 29 N, The PIG is owned and operated by Christina Humphries. “The PIG is known not only for their delicious food and exceptional customer service, but also for their thoughtful dedication to Madison County,” said Madison County Chamber of Commerce director Anna Strickland. “Whether its donating meals to local healthcare professionals, providing a local veterinary hospital with much needed supplies or even partnering with local artists and graphic designers on their logo, menu, and decor, The PIG is a true team player. These are just a few of the reasons why The PIG was also presented with the Chamber’s ‘Business of the Month’ recognition.
