Rotary Club assembles ramp for Smith family

The Madison County Rotary Club received a call from Mike Smith about his wife Cynthia after she fell and broke her femur and after surgery and in a rehab center, needed a ramp to come home. Last week, the Rotary Club had just transferred back a donated aluminum ramp after the previous recipient no longer needed the ramp. This ramp is used for short-term rehab after surgery and the prognosis for use is short term. The crew assembled the aluminum ramp March 5 at the Smith home. The Smith Family made a financial donation to the ramp program so that the program may help others in the community. Ramp workers involved in assembling ramp number 808 were Anthony Dove, Johnny Minish, Bruce Gandy, David McGinnis, Alan Phillips and Ed Brown.
