Rotary Club assists the Brown family

The Madison County Rotary Club ramp crew constructed the 821st handicap ramp for Arthur Brown on Brickyard Road in Comer June 3. Arthur, who is pictured in the photo, and his wife Sondra have two daughters, Domonique and Missessa, and one grandson. Arthur is a disabled veteran who has recently received a kidney transplant. He is a member of the Vance Creek Baptist Church in Elberton. “The Rotary Club ramp crew was honored to have been pictured with this former Marine Corps Corporal and to offer the ramp as a small measure of thanks for his sacrifice,” Rotary leaders said. The volunteers and Rotarians providing labor for the Brown ramp were Don Sullinger, Bruce Gandy, Ed Brown, Mitchell Hill, Walton Hill, Harry Rice, Artry Bishop and Alan Philips.
