Rotary constructs ramp for Teisa Lipscomb

The Madison County Rotary Club ramp crew constructed its 802nd handicap ramp for Teisa Lipscomb on Ed Coile Road in Hull Thursday, Jan. 7. Teisa and her husband, Michael, now departed, were long-time residents of Madison County and have three supportive children nearby. Michael worked in construction and spent years working at Northside Tool Rental in Gwinnett. Teisa worked in construction cleaning but is now fighting serious health challenges from a series of strokes and heart bypass surgery. But she said she is determined to remain active and mobile. “The ramp is a Godsend,” she said. Teisa is worried about, and asked prayers for, her brother, Ronnie Maynard, a pastor in the City of Madison, his wife, Lynn and their son, a recent Marine veteran, and his wife, who all have COVID 19. The Rotarians and volunteers on the ramp crew included Mitchell Hill, Ed Brown, Bruce Gandy, Johnny Minish, David Westmoreland, Alan Phillips, Wade Scarboro, David McGuiness, Artry Bishop, James Adams, Don Sullinger, Walton Hill and Tim McCannon.
