Southern Hardware named Chamber’s ‘April Business of the Month’

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce has named Southern Hardware & Supply at 650 Hwy. 72 W. in Comer as its “April Business of the Month.” This locally-owned business has more than 40 years of experience and was recognized as a “Featured Retailer in the 2015 Spring Edition of Newsworthy Magazine.” “Southern Hardware sells hardware, lawn and garden supplies, pet supplies, paint, as well as plumbing and electrical and farm supplies. Chamber director Anna Strickland said Southern Hardware’s hometown roots are “not just reflected by their friendly, knowledgeable staff, but also by their involvement with churches, local sports teams, clubs, and other associations such as the Madison County Chamber of Commerce.” “Their welcoming staff is proud to help farmers, homeowners, contractors, and business owners find all of the hardware supplies they need that helps make Northeast Georgia such a great place to live,” said Strickland. “Southern Hardware is constantly referring their clients to other local businesses in Comer and in Madison County. The Chamber is proud to celebrate and honor businesses that go above and beyond to promote our community. We appreciate Southern Hardware for being such a team player in our community's economic development. Congratulations to Mr. Lynn Kellum, his team, and his family!”
