The City of Hull issued 100 COVID-19 care packages for the community with the assistance of Troop 777 and community volunteers Aug. 29 at the Hull’s City “Well” on Hwy. 72 and Glenn Carrie Road. The packages included face masks, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, surface cleaner, hand sanitary wipes voter and Census information, a mixed trail snack and bottled water. Hull Mayor Paul Walton said the event was “bittersweet.” “We were glad to be able provide what we could but saddened by the ones we had to turn away after supplies ran out,” he said. “It goes to show how much of our community is need.”
