Hull named ‘City of Ethics’

The City of Hull was recognized as a certified City of Ethics at the Georgia Municipal Association’s (GMA) Cities United Summit on Jan. 26. Hull is the only city in Madison County to receive this certification. A panel of attorneys reviewed the ordinances to determine if they comply with the criteria set by GMA. The new members received a plaque and are now authorized by GMA to use a “Certified City and Organization of Ethics” logo on stationery, road signs, vehicles and for other uses. Pictured (L-R) are council members Yvonne Davenport, Marilyn Walton, Mayor Paul Walton, City Clerk Sandra Pou, Brian Koepnick and John Barber.
