Ila students recognized for math achievement

Madison County Board of Education members honored five Ila Elementary School students as winners of the fourth grade math competition, held every spring at the middle school. The winners (and current fifth graders) were (L-R) Theron Lord, Sadie Brook Smith, Peyton Clark, Mead McGinnis and Bianca Stiles. Also pictured (back row, L-R) competition advisor Donna Smith, Ila Elementary teacher Amy Dobbs, Ila principal Missy Andrews and superintendent Michael Williams. Smith said this was the highest score produced by a winning team.
