Red Raider wrestlers honored at banquet

The Madison County wrestling team recently held its annual banquet. “The team members were congratulated and celebrated another great season, and its third trip in a row to state duals and its 12th year in a row having a state finalist,” said coaches. Winners were Reece Braswell, Region 8 Most Outstanding Wrestler; Josh Kincaid and Casey Lovelace, AAAA state qualifiers; Nate Krickel, “Beast of the F’east”; Matthew Bond, “Rookie of the Year”; Toby House, “Red Raider Award”; Tristan Poss, “Coaches Award”; Jace Jachimski and Casey Lovelace, “Most Improved”; Josh Kincaid, “Most Outstanding Wrestler.” Kincaid was a four-time Region-8 champion, four-time state finalist, three-time state champion (113, 126 and 138 lb. weight classes) with a 187-11 career record. He has signed with the Emmanuel College wrestling team. He is also the winner of the Fellowship of Christian Athlete (FCA) “Wrestler of the Year” scholarship, which is voted on and selected by the FCA wrestling division.
