The Mill Creek football program continued preparations for the upcoming season as players attended two different camps this past week. On Thursday, 17 players traveled to Flowery Branch for a three-day high school player development camp hosted by the Atlanta Falcons. Saturday, 36 offensive …
Mill Creek High School’s Scott Ooley recently returned from the NIKE football camp in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. NIKE camp linebacker coach Chris Gizzi praised Ooley for his performance at this year’s camp.
The Mill Creek High School varsity baseball team has been named the region 7-AAAAA team of the year. Head coach Doug Jones was honored as coach of the year. Mill Creek’s Johnny Knight was named co-player of the year along with North Forsyth’s Bones Dalken.

Four Mill Creek athletes placed in the State Boys All Class Track and Field Championships this past week at Jefferson Memorial Stadium. Ramael Wilson, Michael Kopanski, Colin Conroy and Brian Graham each scored a top six finish to earn the Hawks a team total of ten points.
