The Jefferson (Musser) 11U football team is set to play in the North Georgia Youth Football Association (NGYFA) Super Bowl Saturday (Nov. 16) at 4:30 p.m. against North Hall (Clark). The team carries a 6-3 mark into that game, but has avenged two of its three regular-season losses in the playoffs. That includes a 33-0 win over No. 1 seed Jackson County on Nov. 9 to earn a spot in the championship. Jefferson will look to avenge a 12-7 regular-season loss to North Hall (Clark) with Saturday’s rematch in the Super Bowl. The team’s roster is made up of Juan Porras, Jack Roberts, Keyonte Davenport, Daniel Coker, Ben Musser, Camden Dumas, Josiah Harriman, Colin Keefe, Julian Heard, Vincent Ledbetter, Maddox Carrigan, Michael Wilkinson, Owen Greene, Jordan Robinson, Chance Payne, Caleb Delong, Tripp Porter, Will Dominicali, Dylan Addison, Hunter Dempsey and Landon Peyton. Coaches are Caleb Musser, Robert Dempsey, J.D. Dumas, Scott Greene, Tommy Porter and Steve Payne. The team’s cheerleaders are Evie Bray, Abby Musser, Marlee Garrett, Lillian Dempsey, Eliza Healin, KristiAna Truelove, Arianna Thomas, Katie Pipes, Sophie Bryant, Isabella Addison, Hannah Musser and Maddie Herring. Cheerleading coaches are Melissa Greeson and Jessica Pipes.
